While I score for narrative and documentary works, I also create original compositions for all platforms of visual media. I not only apply high quality craftsmanship to each project, but I help to cultivate a cinematic experience that will not only enhance the piece, but bring it to its full fruition. In this piece, the client wanted to show a daily, bustling life in their townhome community. I used percussion steadily throughout this piece to create a sense of urgency to match the vision of the commercial; balanced by minimal piano and a celesta (bells).
For this commercial, the director and I were tasked to make a video contrasting an Arby's restaurant to a recording studio. I went on location to an Arby's to find complementary items in their kitchen that made similar sounds as musical instruments in a recording studio, to help with transitions between both locations.
